West Shore Free Church embraces all people in the way God created them. For our adults with disabilities, we have developed programs, services and accommodations to ensure that everyone feels fully accepted, needed, wanted and loved in our church.
The A-Team is a community of believers with different learning abilities that combine fun, fellowship, learning and relationship building. Founded over 20 years ago, the A-Team meets Sunday mornings and witnesses to those with cognitive and learning challenges, bringing them into the body of Christ. The A-Team is called by God to minister to the spiritual and relational needs of intellectually disabled adults.
Our Deaf Konnect Ministry provides sign language interpretation for Sunday service as part of our mission to support a deaf-friendly church community and encourage people who are deaf and hard-of-hearing to fully participate in all aspects of church life. For those in need, seating is located in the front of the worship center and is open to friends and family as well. Wireless hearing assist packs are available from the tech booth during any of our services.
